Lillian O’Sullivan regularly represents Court-appointed Guardian’s ad Litem in cases under the Child Care Act, 1991. The Guardian ad Litem’s role in Child Care cases is to provide a Report to the Court setting out the views and wishes of the child in the proceedings while also setting out their recommendations about what is in the best interests of the child. The Guardian ad Litem plays a significant role in Child Care cases concerning vulnerable children and their families.

Lillian O’Sullivan has also been appointed by the Court to represent children and young people in Child Care proceedings. Lillian has an extensive experience in Child Care law, having practiced in this field for nearly 20 years.
